9/11

Video and audio from a Sony TRV10. Images added using Pinnacle Studio 9.4.

A few people said that the effect where the video gets really bright was cheesy and suggested I remove it. The eerie truth is that I don't know how it got there. The camera did that - it's not an effect I added.

Julia Othmer performing at Hill of the Hawk in Big Sur, CA 2005.

Julia,

I think the change in lighting directly affects the words of your music and is obviously a symbol.

Beautiful song.

I lost someone very close to me years ago--from the moment I first heard that song in a coffee shop in Haddonfield, N.J. it always brought back such emotion; beautiful song darling Julia, thank you! See you at the Bitter End.

that was really good - thanks for reminding us what a great talent your sister has. I'm going to have to play that track on Darkhorse Radio now. Julia has already featured 3 times in recent weeks (www.DarkhorseRadio.com) - she's becoming such a regular that I will expect her to come to the Christmas party - what's a few thousand miles eh!
